Here is my experience with Jeff Liu.Frown

Jeff Liu/Aprils Bridal- CHINA DRESS- is in

In short I didn’t get a 100% refund as promised. Also if he takes longer than 45days to complete your dress there is no promise from ebay or paypal that you can get a 100% refund. Also with him I didn’t get what I ordered, a confirmation pic(forces you to pay from $40-$70 t ship it back to China for alterations or a refund), I also only received 50% back. Anyways you can read my review above and maybe see pics toward the bottom.

My reviews from a different company. Laughing

Yeah I would. I really had a great experience. There are a few reasons. Not only is the dress top quality, they keep excellent contact with their customers. I didn’t feel worried at all. They were also very willing to help me with any questions.

They accept pics of dresses. I really love the work they made for my two.

I would just suggest to ask for sample pics of something similar to compare the quality for yourself, get your measurements correct, and write in the order form any specifics you may have ( I asked for No sequin, only beading and crystals).

Good luck with your dress. I have seen some good work from him. I think maybe it depends on the style of dress and the types of materials they have at their exposal. Satin dresses tend to look very nice from this company. ^_^

Can I see the dress you love?

I just found some old pics from a girl that bought organza in the past from them. She was on the projectwedding site.

It looks ike she had problems the 1st time she ordered because she asked them to make it in chiffon. I don’t think she knew her materials.

The orginal gown was in Silk Organza.

Which ever company you go with maybe you should consider requesting a good material for the Organza. If you can get fabric samples that would be the best so that you won’t have something surprising

I ordered a dress from Jeff after telling him several times what I wanted, what I needed, what I expected, and asking if he could do all of that for me.  He never hesitated in telling me he could make my dress for me, and at an incredible price.

I wanted a replica of this dress: (Jim Hjelm Blush style 1057):

http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Blush/Bridal/Fall/2010/Style-1057

I ordered the dress, and in a couple of days, got an email from Jeff saying he couldn’t get cotton lace (this was really important to me, as I loved the feel and weight of it).  I told him I needed that, but was willing to see what else he had.  He quickly sent me pictures of what he had available, and nothing was really quite what I wanted.  He assured me that no one in China had the material I was looking for, and that if someone said they did, then they were lying.  I asked him for a refund, and he very quickly gave me one, without any problems.  I would say overall, even though I didnt buy a dress from him, the experience was great, just because there was no hassle in getting my money back.  His English is a little broken, but understandable, and in the end, no skin off my back.

I ended up getting my dress made by Wendy at Ieie bridal.  I love it!

I will post some crappy phone pictures in the boards as soon as the website is letting us post pics again:)
