Wilson2Bee:  I didn’t use them for invitations, but I did business card sized magnets for my save the date. I’d read that sales were common, so I knew to wait and check back often to get a good price. About a week after getting my e-pics back, I got on their website and found that what I wanted was 50% off. Yay! 100 magnets for $15.99, score!

I got on, uploaded my photo, and played around for about an hour making sure that the colors were perfect, the size was right, and (most importantly) my Fiance approved. When it was finally done, I proceeded to checkout. At this point, you have to page through half a dozen advertisements (careful not to accidentally click something!) to finally get to your shopping cart. Once there, I discovered that my lovely sale had disappeared. Instead of showing the 1/2 off price advertised, the price at check out was just 20% off. I opened a new tab to go back to the main page and discovered that the sale I’d seen just an hour ago was no longer shown.

I called customer service. I assumed that the sale had ended mid-order, but that the company would honor the price originally shown when I started. After about 15 minutes on hold (admitedly, not a terrible length, but the “estimated wait time” was just 3 minutes, so…) I reached a representative. She told me that no such sale existed. Though she never flat-out accused me of lying, she repeated many times that the items I was attempting to order had NEVER been on sale for 1/2 off and that she simply couldn’t honor a sale that didn’t exist. She offered 25% off as a “compromise”, but I was annoyed and told her I’d figure something else out.

The very next day, I got back on Vistaprint and THE SAME SALE WAS BACK. It was advertised on the main page just as it had been before. I clicked on it, and since I’d already done all the work to design the cards, went straight to checkout this time. And this time, it worked. I got my magnets for the originally advertised price. They were delivered last week and are awesome! I really love them and I’m glad we have them.

So, I guess you could say I’m mixed when it comes to using the company. In the end, everything worked out for me. I got a great deal and love my magnets, but it was a frustrating process and customer service was a joke.

I used them for my save the dates, which I just got yesterday. They are fine for hte price. Vistaprint is much cheaper than any other site I was  checking out for STD’s. They are good, basic, STD’s. If I wanted something very luxe or glamourous, I probably would have gone to a different site. I also didn’t upload any photos; I used one of their “designer” templates so I can’t speak to the quality of photo uploads. The sale was 40% off when I ordered them. Bottom line– I am happy with my STD for what I paid.

I did our invitations (along with insert cards, and RSVP post card) and they turned out really well.

I spent MONTHS searching for the perfect invitiation, and just couldn’t find anything that I really really liked, and also allowed me to customize what I wanted. There was one out there, but it was SPENDY! So, I decided that Vistprint was a great deal, and although I was searching for a particular design (I needed 2 invitation styles, due to having one for ceremony-only, and another for reception… which was lengthier in words). And, it worked.

A lot of people commented on how nice they were. I just used the premium card stock for the invitations, recycled matte for the Information cards, and did the matte postcard so people could write on them.

I also just ordered our Thank You cards from them (no picture), and they arrived and look great.

My best friend used Vistaprint for her invites and they came out beautiful! I am not sure what type of cardstock she selected, etc. but I thought they were really nice!

I used them for my sister’s shower invitations. Pretty straight forward and a good price. I didn’t upload a photo, I used one of their templates but it came out fine and shipped fast.

Oh, also… my sister used them for shower/bachelorette party invites and uploaded a PDF picture that a friend of hers made for them… and they looked great! So, very easy site to use for using a template they have, or something someone creates.

Check for deals. When I bought, it was 40% off.

Wilson2Bee:  like anything, less $ means less service. Vista print is super affordable, especially if you use groupons or sales. And the products are moderate quality. Their customer service lacks, yes.

It was perfect for us. We wanted to spend as little as absolutely possible (without emailing invites) and not DIY. Our invites are nothing special, but they are nice enough for what we wanted. And it was a total of about $120 for 60 invites, enclosure cards, and 100 thank yous.

I’ve actually found their customer service to be super helpful in the design stages. They answered tons of questions for me and even loaded things directly into my portfolio.

We used them for our invites and loved them. We only had one problem. When we got our invites a lot of the envelopes were bent and torn and so we’re our envelope seals. They replaced all of them for free. So it ended up not being a huge deal at all. But Darling Husband and I also use them for business cards.

I bought ours from vista print I liked the option of customizing it yourself that way you get what you want. Here is mine. The lighting sucks but you get the picture.
