We are planning on having both the ceremony and reception at the Hotel deLuxe.  We’re doing a fairly small wedding, and want a glamorous vintage feel.

@melrose: I love Hotel deLuxe!  Fiance had his Christmas party there last year and it is such an amazing venue.

We were married at Marine Park in Cascade Locks (another Gorge bride!).  We did the ceremony on Thunder Island and the reception in the Gorge Pavilion.  They are located right on the banks of the Columbia River.  I couldn’t have picked a better venue!

@ Rachel Leigh, I hope you post pics!  It would be fun to see how it looks for each of our weddings!

World Forestry Center!! Love it- so cozy and perfect for all of our out of town guests because of the Max.

Also- if anyone is having a hard time finding a cute venue that does not require a preferred caterer (the biggest headache & easiest way to go poor…lol) look into the First Unitarian Church. The pictures will never to it justice. The coordinator is sooo nice. You can also use their dishes, linens, silverware for free. And you can go as late as you want to. Meaning take the party until 3am!! Woo hoo!
