@cooperlove:  I don’t have an Iphone, but a Samsung Galaxy S3, and i just put all similar apps into folders by title of the type of app. EG. ‘social media’ folder has Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Foursquare. ‘Music’ folder has Songza, TuneInRadio, 8Tracks, SoundCloud.

I find this is a really easy way to keep from having tons of different app pages, and keep it all organized!

I put all of the apps that come with the phone on my home page. Calendar, photos, voice memos, notes, settings, app store, contacts, maps, reminders, stocks, compass, camera, clock, calculator, passbook apps and newstand. In the lower bar I keep my phone, mail, safari and messages.

The rest I’ve organized into files alphabetically (I’m anal I know) like brain games, education, finance, food, games, game center apps, iPhone (lost my phone app, podcasts), lifestyle, music, photography, productivity, references, shopping, social, time wasters and weather.

LOL I sound crazy!

I do pretty much the same thing as @Baroness_Meg:

Home screen has the stuff I use the most – flashlight, FF, wedding stuff, games, texts, email, etc.

I also organize things into folders by type – wedding stuff, games, music, etc.

Do you mean physically organize them? If so just hold down an app and then drag it onto another app you want in the same folder, it will automatically create a new folder and name it (which you can change) then you can move all your folders around Laughing

If you mean by category I have a Shopping folder, sports, app stores, utilities, games, health, photography, Random and Misc (don’t ask me the diff between randon/misc I have no idea I just know I couldn’t fit more in the Misc folder so the Random was created lol)

I have an iPhone 5 and I organized all my apps into folders. You hold the app down and them drag them into the folders that you want. If I remember correctly, if you drag 2 games together they end up going into a folder that you can name “Games”.

@Lyndzo:  This.  I have lots of folders and use 2 screens… I’m a bit picky, though, and only keep 3 rows of icons on each page, plus the solid ones at the bottom.  Folders I have include photography, weather, transit, google, news, sports, music, etc.

i put everything in folders on my second page, and my most used and most important apps on the first page all by themselves that way i can enjoy my wallpaper.
