I’m in the process of making the wedding favors (early I know, but we’re busy people and we want to get them out of the way!). We’re using satin-edged organza ribbon tied in bows on straw fans. Below is the look we’re going for.
Because we have the satin-edged bows, our organza doesn’t have a wire inside them for shaping. They still are stiff enough to have some poof to them when I first made them.
We’ve made about 35 of them so far and have noticed that the ones we made yesterday are drooping and are easily flattened by being in the box.
How do I go about stiffening them up? Will hair spray work or will that just ruin the favor tag I have underneath the bow?
