The Fiance and I are having an 18 month engagement for a multitude of reasons (money & timing for reception venue to name a few) so I was thinking I would use the time to DIY a bunch of things. I’m not really one for fresh flowers (although, I do love the occasional bouquet) but I’m not sure that I want to devote a chunk of my already small budget to fresh flowers. I was thinking of making some origami flowers (he studied Japanese in college and lived there twice since I’ve known him, so origami has a sentimental value to us)- has anyone ever heard of or seen someone do this at a wedding? How did it look? I found this bouquet through google and I’m not totally opposed to it!

I think they’d be beautiful. I’ve made origami lillies before and they’re not that hard. Using nice paper really helps, if you do decide to make them.
