Have you looked into Ceviche? It’s a more fun atmosphere. That’s where we are thinking of doing ours.

I don’t think they have live music, but a wonderfully fun place to look into is called BrickHouse Tavern on I-drive near Pointe Orlando. It is such a cool atmosphere with fireplaces and firepits outside. Fiance and I love it! Also look into BB Kings in Pointe Orlando. I’m not sure what their menu looks like or the price, but I know they have live music everynight.

Taverna Opa in Pointe Orlando is a lot of fun!

I looooooooooove Ceviche. If we were getting married in the Orlando area instead of the Space Coast area, Ceviche would be a top contender.

Ceviche does have live music, it’s just on the bar side instead of in the large dining room. This might actually work well in that your group can have conversation without having to yell but as dinner winds down you can move over into the bar to enjoy the music.

mmmm, someone go there for me now and have the patatas bravas!

I did my rehearsal at Ceviche, it was AWESOME.  We rented the room upstairs, I would highly suggest it to anyone if it is in their budget. The food isn’t too expensive, but our bar bill was high.

@arametta127:  I’d have to agree.  Brickhouse is amazing and has a great selection of beer for a beer schnob. 🙂  They have a lot of seating and you could probably see if you can adjust their music selection.

Any recommendations for a place a little closer to downtown or north? Our hotel is in Alamonte and I don’t want our guests to have to travel down to Idrive for the dinner especially when the wedding is so close in Longwood.

In Altamonte, I’d do Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. Great place for a group. Very social and fun! Or Stonewood Grill in Lake Mary.

SoNapa has a beautiful room with a fireplace and they let you decorate. It’s on 17/92 but isn’t hard to get to. I love the atmosphere!
