I wholeheartedly believe he’s dead.  Obama doesn’t need anything more on his plate so I think he would’ve kept his mouth shut if he wasn’t sure.  That’s my theory anyways.

Whaa?  Oh that dude is dead.  Can you even begin to imagine the public outrage and retaliation if the President lied to us outright?  It would be infuriating to hear him (and everyone else) commend our brave troops for this if it didn’t actually happen.

What is the question in your mind? I believe it because I have no reason to disbelieve it. They have DNA to prove it. And if they lied and he is not dead can you imagine what the taliban would do to prove Obama a liar?

Wait, people think he’s still alive? Scheduling a press conference to lie seems totally pointless to me.

From what I can gather, even if this is some sort of PR move, conspiricy, w/e, he is dead now. The question I’m reading more of is, “When did he die?”

There’s apparently a lot of evidence that he died years ago, but never an announcement.

I am a Democrat and an Obama supporter, but I still think this is odd. And, honestly, the whole thing scares me. I feel like an attack is inevitable now. If Osama was just killed, there will be retaliation. Especially the way we are celebrating. It’s like we are asking for trouble. I’m scared, ya’ll.

Time to head to Canada. :/

They buried him at sea so quickly because of customs and for the fact that they didn’t want a shrine built in his memory.  I understand the questioning when it comes to that though.  I still stand by my belief of him being dead.

I didn’t vote because I honestly don’t know. I don’t believe the government lied, but I admit that the way that they got rid of his body so quickly (and at sea— why not dig a hole?!) rubs me the wrong way. I think I’ll say… I believe he is probably dead…. but I really wouldn’t be shocked if it came to light at some point that he was alive.

They buried his body at sea because Muslim tradition dictates that the body must be buried within 24 hours (or at least that’s what I heard). And it was done at sea to avoid having his burial site become a shrine.

I think that he’s dead – but I think that he died a long time ago.

It seems logical that they would have had to get rid of the body quickly and in a way that would make it impossible to recover.  Can you imagine what people would do (on both sides) if his body was in a location that people knew about and could access?
