..For me, perfume.

Although gross, I can tolerate BO. Perfumes make my physically ill. I am very sensitive to scents. I’ll end up with a bad headache, nausea, etc around artificial scents.

I guess the BO would be marginally better depending on how closely I had to work with them!

Too much perfume.  I’ve dealt with both.  Something about the chemicals in perfume makes me lightheaded and queasy.

BO is far worse, in my opinion. It makes me gag when I smell it! Perfume, while annoying when over applied and if it’s not a nice smell, can at least be pleasant sometimes. Also, I find I desensitize to perfume, but BO I will always be able to smell no matter how long I’ve been sitting near the person.

Body odor is way worse for me. Perfume can wear off throughout the day, BO just gets worse.

BO is worse for me. I’d rather be sneezing than barfing.

B.O. = worse

I am one of those people who gets paranoid that if I smell B.O. then omg is it coming from me and I have to do a sniff test and I worry that I stink.

If it’s perfume then yes, it’s overbearing and sometimes makes me cough or gives me a slight headache if it’s super strong but at least I’m not thinking I have B.O. all day.  :/

I can’t decide!! Perfume can give me a blinding migraine after a few hours, but I’ve been around bo so bad that I’ve vomited. There is no winning.

I can’t deal with BO. If I get on the subway and I get a whiff of BO (which happens more often than I’d like in the summer), I do a 180 and step right off. If I can’t get into another car in time, I will wait for the next train. I cannot be trapped with BO.

Perfume is gross too though. Especially the heavy floral kind.

However,  BO masked my massive amounts of cheap cologne – this is the worst of both worlds!

Perfume gives me a headache, BO makes me want to vomit.
