Hey Miss GB, I guess she hasn’t visited this board, but WB reader Sam (who commented on your readings post) has a blog with totally adorable pics of her recent (same-sex) wedding in Boston. 🙂 There are baby animal pix on there, too!  http://genierster.googlepages.com/sueandsam

Hi Everyone!

I am a wedding photographer based in the generally ultra-conservative Temecula Valley in southern California.  I am very happy that many of the photographers in this area are chosing to avoid photographing same-sex weddings.  I hope all of the happy couples that they turn away love my work and come my way, because I believe that EVERYONE deserves to have a great photographer on their big day.  For that matter, EVERYONE deserves to have a great venue, a great officiant, a great baker, and so on as well!

This ruling for same-sex marriages is long overdue!  Congratulations to ALL of those in the LGBT community who finally have the opportunity to be treated with the equality they deserve.

The next thing you know a black man or a woman will be running for President of the U.S.!  Who-Hoo!!

Cheers!

Loren Scott

Yeah, I’m so happy that I’m getting married in California where all my friends in same sex relationships have all the rights and privleges of straight couples.

Great stuff!

I got married – I posted my pics over on the pics board…! Click over and check them out.

Also, we wrote our own ceremony, and for any of you who are thinking about doing the same, I’d be happy to share what we did!  I didn’t find a lot of gay-friendly prototypes out there so I basically started from scratch, and it seems more efficient (and friendly) to pass some ideas along.

 Good luck to you all!

I would really love to see a same-sex couple with one of them being a Bee blogger!

Hey girls! Count me in too. Same sex couple (Vanessa and Jess) getting married in Newport Beach, Cali. THIS FREAKING NOVEMBER (holy crap).

I’m a newspaper reporter and she’s a firefighter (hothothot). My blog = http://www.thereportergirl.wordpress.com

I’ve been posting more on our wedding web site diary as of late though. Find it at: http://vanessaandjess.weddingannouncer.com/

I applied to be a Bee but didn’t make the cut unfortunately. Damn the bad luck right?

WelcomeWelcomeWelcome. It’s so nice to meet you and congrats!

Another gay-wedding-lovin’ hetero over here. I’d love to see a gay bee and a stronger non-traditional presence throughout the site.

Thanks so much. I love to write. It’s so much fun.

It would definitely be nice if the site were a bit more diversified but it’s still a fantastic resource for all brides.

I don’t blog here, mostly because I prefer to keep all my wedding planning stuff in one place, my Google site.  However, we are most definitely a same-sex couple, and I post here often.

One of my good guy friends is waiting to marry his long term bf!  They live together and have raised his son!  Great parents!

I love that guy and think the world of him and he and his partner are awesome!  Heck, when they set the date (whenever they get around to it!) I hope they’d come HERE!  We need some grooms to give some insight!

I don’t have a blog, but I am part of a same-sex couple. My partner and I are getting married on Valentines Day of next year. Looking forward to all that comes with planning a wedding. The good, the bad and everything in between.
