What budget are you looking at?

@Miss_Itzy:  Are you just looking for bouquets/bouts or centerpieces too?

I met with Flower Essence, and Full Bloom. They all came in higher than $900 but of course it depends on what you want. Flower Essence was less expensive than Full Bloom but both have great work!

Consider buying your bulk flowers from a wholesaler such as APEX http://www.apexfloral.com/register.asp, or Costco, or some other cheaper source.

Also you may want to ask a confident friend or relative to look into making the bouquets yourselves. Try a trial run, if it works well you could save a lot that way. I do think, however, that bouts are trickier to put together. You may want to stick with ordering those.

I have an amazing Florist to recommend. Hi name is Dirk Visbach aka Dirk the Flower Man. He charged me a very reasonable amount to put together my wedding bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets, 4 bouts, 2 corsages and 4 curly willow pots with flowers attached. To keep costs down, I picked up all the flowers at Loblaws and Tivoli (to ensure everything would go with the colour scheme). He picked everything up from my home and delivered it to the venue and my home the day of–he was great!! I highly recommend him!! Tivoli in Westboro was actually awesome as well..I was looking for raspberry and purple coloured orchids and could not find them at Loblaws–they had a fabulous selection, the woman I dealt with was amazing she included free water vials for all the stems and threw in some foliage–leaves and grass. Loblaws usually charges for everything so it was far cheaper to go with Tivoli—I’ll definitely go there in the future –I was so impressed with the service and very shocked with their reasonable pricing!

If anyone knows a relatively cheap place to get Lavendar in May I would be interested. We’re keeping things simple with freesias, lavendar and babies breath. 🙂

@Soon-to-be-wed:  Do you have any pics of the flowers (especially bouquets) that Dirk did for you?

I just picked up my flowers today and am IN LOVE. They are fake, but real touch. If you are still looking, message me and I can give you details. And the prices are amazing.
