I fell down the basement steps and broke my tailbone and fractured my sacrum! Major ouch! This bites as I LOVE summer and wait all year long for it. No canoeing, camping, or working out for at least 6 weeks! Apparently anti-inflammatories and ice are the only things that are used to treat it!

My friend fractured her tailbone after she fell off a horse and she was able to do everything like normal but just take it easy & sit on her donut (an inflatable circle).

Oh no!!! I bruised mine really severely at my old job and that was the worst pain I’d ever been in, I don’t know how horrible it would feel to break your tailbone!!! Poor you!!! I hope you feel better ASAP. Lots of rest, tylenol and ice I suppose!!

I broke my tailbone many years back (I’m thinking 15?) and while I don’t remember how bad the pain was I do remember I was back to normal pretty quickly. Unlike when I broke my collarbone.
Hope you feel better soon.

I’ve bruised mine before and remember how uncomfortable that was! I hope you get to feeling better soon! Hopefully you will heal faster than the six weeks! Otherwise just take an inflatable donut with you on the canoe!
