MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t have it yet; she is custom-making it with a couple of slight modifications to one of her usual patterns, and I’m sourcing the fabric here in NYC and mailing it to her. But it’s going to be something along the lines of these that she has already made:

Both of your dresses are going to be gorgeous!  I love this designer, and I love me some tulle.

@starbuck:  Yay, another pink dress bride!  Have you picked the fabric yet?

I plan to be an Ouma bride but I haven’t ordered my dress yet. I can’t wait to see pictures of “real brides” in their Ouma dresses!

I’m pretty set on this dress (I’m not sure if it has a name or not!) though I may ask if she can make it just a bit longer:

I think it will fit in great with our non-traditional venue:

I really love looking at all of her dresses though. They’re all so unique and romantic!

I’m not an Ouma bride but I definitely took some inspiration from her work. You guys better post pics when you have them! I can’t wait to see.

@MsPanda: thanks!

For those of you who have asked for changes: has Ouma been open to changes you’ve asked for? Is she easy to work with?

@onepercent:  Yes, she has been SUPER open to changes, and really a pleasure to work with. We are making a couple of small modifications to her existing design, and she was totally happy and interested to hear my ideas and see the inspiration images I sent her. I’m concerned about fit in the bodice, so she is going to make a muslin mock-up of it and mail it to me, so I can try it on and see what if anything needs to be adjusted or tweaked, and then she’s going to make the final bodice once we get the muslin sorted.

@MsPanda: it will be floor-length. I can’t wait!
