I’m so sorry. It’s heartbreaking to lose a furry family member. 💔 Big hugs to you, bee.

svnnh09:  I’m so sorry bee 🙁 I feel your pain as if it were my own. I lost my 15 year old cat about a year and a half ago. It was the hardest day ever. She had not been herself so we made a vet appointment. The day of the appointment she couldn’t even walk without falling over. She deteriorated so fast. My mom said the vet would give her medicine to help with her pain and make her feel better. I think she was in denial, on the ride over, I knew exactly what the vet was going to say and that it was her last day. We had to put her to sleep. They boxed her up for us and we burried her in the backyard. My dad made her a gravestone and my mom took me to the store to buy flowers and other little memorials for her. It was tough, I still miss her and cry sometimes. I was 22 when she died and I got her when I was 7. Even my dad, who is a tough guy and who I’ve never seen sad before, said that day he felt like someone just punched him in the stomach and cried. It still feels empty when I visit my parents house and see no kitty on the couch (her sister prefers the chair or bed). But at least on that day, someone got to be happy. As we were leaving this young couple came in for their new puppy’s first visit. Even though it was hard so see, I’m glad they were happy. And when my best friend’s guinea pig died I gave her a flower from my kitty’s grave and she thought that was sweet. I know these last couple things aren’t really related, but I hope they make you feel better and that you aren’t alone.

Kitties (or any pet) are always so special. It looks like she was very loved and lived a long life. Now she is resting in a beautiful place. And it sounds like your friends, family, and Fiance are very sweet.  Keeping you in my thoughts <3

svnnh09:  What a beautiful girl!  It’s wonderful she had such a long happy life with you, but I know that makes it that much harder in some ways.  I lost my sweet boy kitty several months ago – he was only 2.5 and was literally the most perfect cat you could imagine, so I can relate to your pain.  It does get better with time, and the happy memories will start to outweigh the hurt.  Big hugs from a fellow cat lover!!!

And also, this makes me cry but also hits home so much.  It even looks like your sweet girl.  When you’re ready, I know there are some other furry friends out there who desperately need love….
