Well, we’re about two months out and just a few little things left to acquire (like a diaper pail and a crib mobile . . . both of which have been purchased off of our registry!). I wanted to share the pictures of our completed nursery because, well, I had a really hard time with it (definitely a labor of love!) and I know how helpful I found it when I saw something I liked in a nursery and could ask the designer/owner specifically where she bought it and how much it cost and what the dimensions are and all that good stuff. So if you see anything you like or want some info on, don’t hesitate to ask.
(Okay. Fine. I’m also posting it because I’m a little proud of how it turned out. We really love it.)

Love it! Especially the pictures on the wall. I like that you didn’t go for a typical color scheme, too! Was it hard painting that orange stripe? I’d like to do stripes in my office but I envision it turning out to be a disaster of slanted lines, lol.

It is absolutely adorable!! Love the baskets piled in the corner, and the color choice. You have great taste. 🙂

@adoc86: You know, the hardest part about painting the orange stripe was when my cat jumped in my rolling pan then ran around on the WHITE CARPET. LOL. (With warm soapy water, a Shop-Vac, and time, it all came out…)
But no! It wasn’t bad. Maybe an hour measuring and taping then three hours for three coats? I used a yardstick to measure as best I could and then I used Frog Tape to get a tight, tight seal. Not painter’s tape, Frog Tape. It’s a little more expensive but it does exactly what it promises. Apparently there’s some agent in the adhesive that, once wet, turns to gel and forces the paint to the edge of tape so you get that crisp line. Super easy!

@Britt214: @VikingPrincess: @MrsSawyer: @deetroitwhat: @suburbian: @akelle13: Thank you, ladies! Y’all are so nice.
@MadTownGirl: Thanks! We’re using the baskets to store clothes that will be too big for him right away, and then eventually they’ll be toy bins.
@HisIrishPrincess: LOL. Definitely do not have any design in my background but THANK YOU! That’s so sweet.
