@Kkaattii:  I totally agree, I feel for those children as they get older. Frown Its like… “you will have an unusual name and YOU WILL LIKE IT NO MATTER WHAT!”. I wonder if they’ll be able to choose what they eat or what they wear either? I just can’t imagine giving my kid a name even when such a huge majority of people seem to dislike it. I know the Bee isn’t representative of the country/world as a whole, but still….use some common sense. I guess the only way some people are able to stand out is to be really different…even if it’s at the expense of their child/children, which is so unfair. Even the celebs are doing it now…Apple, anyone?

I actually don’t mind Ryddik, but the no nickname thing really baffles me. You can’t control what other people call your kid after a certain age and when they get into the school system or sports. If you really hate the nicknames, don’t use the name in the first place.

@noopnoop:  Exactally, thats like giving someone the name William & honestly believing that he will not be called Will or Bill (or Liam). Get real.

I kindof disagree though, with people on the bee from 18 to 50something, from US to Malta & Europe..we’ve got a wiiiide variety of people/opinions/cultures on here. The majority voted- Elektra is a stripper, sorry.
