- Wedding: March 2012 - Pelican Grand Beach Resort
Good choice. I love Fort Lauderdale!
ETA: we went to the mountains in PA and to Phily for our honeymoon. A lot of people were confused that we didn’t go somewhere more epic, but we had an amazing time.

I see you got married there – that must have been beautiful 🙂
And that sounds like fun! Being from Florida, you’ve probably seen plenty of palm trees already haha

Aww I love Ft. Laudy! Looks like a wonderful time!

You guys are so cute! It’s kind of a retro honeymoon destination I think…I love it! I grew up in South Florida and I admit it makes me smile that there are people who find palm trees exotic.

First off CONGRATULATIONS on your recent marriage.
GORGEOUS Pics (especially loving the ring one). Thanks for sharing them.
Looks like you guys had a fabulous time. Mr TTR and I both LOVE Ft Lauderdale… we try to get there at least once a year.
Was not familiar with the B-Ocean Hotel (had to look it up)… it is slightly north of where we usually stay (between Las Olas and the Port) … but still a great area (putting you close to Sunrise & the beach)… so totally get why you loved it.
Nice thing about Florida is it isn’t a super expensive getaway… so you and your Hubby can probably get back to reminisce more frequently (you can probably find decent priced flights from Detroit year-round… especially nice to visit there in our Winters)

Thanks all! 🙂
@This Time Round: Thanks!! It was a nice location because it was away from the crowds and noise, but still within walking distance… and it was a lot cheaper! Darling Husband is already talking about going back next year 🙂
