I LOVE edible favors, and I think that is so cute, especially if you attatched a card explaining the significance of the cookies in your relationship!

You’ve got a bunch of options. 1 big cookie or a couple is really up to you labour-wise. Celophane is cheap but difficult(FRUSTRATING) to work with. You could also find bags & tins at your local craft store to save you time & pain. I think the idea is really cute & the card is an absolutely adorable added touch!

I think it’s a good idea. It would be kind of like a cookie bar but you’d have them prepackaged. I think it would ‘cuter’ (lol) to do a few smaller cookies rather than one big one. You could do small tins, or they have those Chinese ‘take out’ boxes, or you could do just some clear plastic baggies tied up with a ribbon or something so people could see the cookies.

ETA: Him saying you ‘bribed’ him made me laugh and makes me think of shirts and stuff that say things like ‘come to the dark side, we’ve got cookies!’ lol

@reebee:  Pillow boxes are so much smarter thanr celophane. SOO much easier!

@MrsRugbee:  Yup, they were super easy and protected the cookies for transporting them!

Here’s the photo of the single cookie in a CD sleeve, I don’t think the link I posted worked (at least it doesn’t when I click on it)

PS- OP – just noticed your wedding is November 12th – excellent choice 😉

I think that’s a great idea, and was just about to jump on pinterest for that same CD sleeve packaging.  I think you could put your story on a little label, and it would be great!

This is such a sweet idea, especially with a little card explaining the story. Food seems to be one of the few favors that people don’t complain about or just toss. Personally, anything that is edible is a great gift!
