I’ll try to keep it short since I know most people come here just to look at the photos 😉
Our day went pretty smoothly. The salon was amazing! Had champagne, and snacks for us even! Of course at certain times we felt a little rushed to get from one area to another since we had limited time for photos, but it worked out and I am sure we will have plenty of amazing ones.
My advice for all you bride-to-beees: Don’t put too much pressure to have hours aside for just taking pictures, get the ones you want and then enjoy your day. Take a mental moment to really take in what is happening around you and go with the flow. As an anxious person it was hard for me to relax at times but I loved it and surprised myself in the moment. So there is hope!
The only real crappy thing that happend was that I got a little too excited on the dance floor jumping up and down and wiped out HARD. I went straight back and banged my head pretty good on the floor. I got back up to dance and didn’t let it ruin my night BUT it has been a rough couple of days since with neck/shoulder pain (but it’s getting better!). Pretty happy we decided to wait to take our Honeymoon in November! This is something I am already laughing about – yup I am that bride that fell haha 🙂
In the end everyone RAVED about our venue, food, and music, and many people were still dancing away when they turned the lights on at 1AM. The speeches were great and my mom’s made me cry.
We had a *phew* moment at the end of the night when we realized that my Husbands brother had gone home (over an hour away) with his keys! Thankfully my mom had a key at her place which is local so we could still get into our house that night!
As I mentioned these are just a few of the unprofessional pictures that my friends have posted online. It’s only been a few days so I don’t have that many yet to share. I will do a follow-up post to this with the professional ones and the many more that other people took on cameras not just phones.
Thank you to everyone whose given me advice over the last year and a half! It’s been so much fun here that I will likely stick around 😉
My dad took this of my quick before walking me down the asile. I look a little nervous lol! My bouquet was a mixture of real flowers and paper flowers that I made.
Signing (we got married by the river, behind us when we were standing at the front was a waterfall)
Not the best quality but I love this photo of our first dance!
Again, pretty blurry but this was our head table and that’s our DJ chatting with us.
