Our photographer blogged our day-after shots today! We had a lot of people ask why in the world we’d do them, but I think they are my favorite photos of all. They were taken literally the day after our wedding – I’m rockin some dirty hair + the same fake eyelashes lol!
If you’re on the edge about day after pics – DO IT! Even if you wait for weeks or even months. It took the pressure off on our wedding day about getting tons of shots of just the two of us, it was way more relaxed, and we didn’t have to worry about getting anything on my dress or smooshing my bouquet or anything like that. It made it extra special that we took them at the new home we built and at the Starbucks we ended our first date at.
One of my favs:

@bakerella: Thank you so much 🙂 I even snuck in that turquoise velvet wingback chair – I got it for free off the curb and my husband HATES it!
Even though my eyes and face are puffy from too much food/too little sleep I’m so happy we did these. Our wedding day was such a blur and went by so fast that this felt like a little extension of it.

Love the contrast of you two all dolled up against the winter-y nature background.

@Grizz: I love that chair!!! I think that’s half of what makes the photo so fabulous! And you lady, look stunning, I don’t see one iota of puffiness!
