Now that we’ve gotten around to telling our families, I finally feel comfortable posting about our sweet beach engagement! We took an impromptu trip to Rosemary Beach last weekend with some of our good friends. On our last day, we went out to Helen Camp State Park and were the only ones there. It was really cute and romantic. At one point, he wrote “Marry Me” in the sand. I thought he was kidding at first (haha, I know) so he spent like fifteen minutes convincing me he really wants to spend our life together, I teared up, then he pulled out the ring! 🙂
Sorry that these pictures are going to be huge. I can never make them smaller without squishing them.
The ring is a round, brilliant solitaire with a floral engraved band. It is handmade, and one of a kind!

Here’s some ring pictures in different kinds of light! It’s a white sapphire, so it throws light in different ways. Under natural light, it is more of a glittery glow, and under indoor light it is incredibly sparkley. We talked about the stone beforehand, and I am so happy we went with a sapphire!

Thank you all! We’re over the moon, and both families took it well despite our young ages. Everybody already wants to start planning this wedding! I think it’s cute because it’s still two years away.
