I love your flowers.  I plan on doing all my flowers and centerpieces.  My centerpieces will be a big ball of carnations in a crystal urn.  However, I do have some beautiful milk glass that I have been collecting for different tables and such.

Thank you for all of your details.  Wish I could easily decided on how many flowers I need.

@ miss.skinner  Maybe I will do a mock up at the end of this week.  Sunday I have a bridal shower and I could show all the ladies my trial flowers.  Thanks again.

Wow! I think yours look better than the inspiration photo -no kidding! Love the color combination, and the milk glass, too.

I am also DIY-ing my flowers. An FYI for other bees thinking of doing the same – you can also order bulk flowers from Sam’s Club, BJ’s or Costco (via their websites). I compared prices between all three and fiftyflowers.com also. You’ll pay more if you use fiftyflowers.com, but they do have more selection. I will be ordering gerber daisies and bells fo Ireland from Sam’s because they have the best prices, and spider mums from fiftyflowers because they’re the only ones that carry those.

I did a trial run order from Sam’s, and the flowers were great. They came FedEx, straight from the grower in South America. The gerber daisies lasted almost two weeks!

If you don’t want to DIY and aren’t to picky about the flowers used, you can order the pre-made floral wedding packages online, also. They arrive already arranged; you just drop them in a vase. The prices are pretty incredible. Sam’s has a 23-piece white roses “wedding pack” (6 bouquets, 6 centerpieces, 6 bouts, 4 corsages and a box of petals) for $515. Fiftyflowers has several options for wedding packs, too, and they let you customize the items to what you need.

@miss.skinner – when did you have to order the flowers for them to arrive on time?
