This was the easiest of the DIY Wedding Projects I did & the result was awesome!
The picture was taken the night my Darling Husband proposed; it was a color digital photo; I then ‘antiqued’ the photo on a website I found that sells ‘antiqued’ photos (I didnt order their photo but could save the print to my desktop). I am currently looking for the website to include here 🙂
I then uploaded my picture to Vistaprint.com…. They have tons of pre-made postcards! I choose to upload my own pic to a blank postcard, Create My own Title on the front & our info to the back. I used font that Vistaprint provided as an option. Then ordered with a coupon & paid shipping. Ended up on my doorstep in 2weeks:) I was extremely happy with the quality. I did have to go thru and put a few in a ‘Not Perfect’ Pile that would only be used if absolutely neccessary; due to a few being off-center…
I then rounded the corners with a corner punch, bought at a local craft shop. Also bought a small heart punch and personalized with a heart punch on the right hand corner.
All of the postcards were sent out with address’s printed via our personal printer in Blue Cursive font. (this took lots of practice, so i made ‘dummie’ postcards to practice on. that way I didnt waste postcards)
