- Wedding: February 2013
Well, our wedding day was a week ago today (because we live in Australia) and actually it is 4.38pm so I would have just rocked up at the ceremony as I type.
What can I say, the weather was perfect, a warm summer day, 21 degrees Celsius so about 70 degree Fahrenheit. Everything went pretty smooth for the whole day, makeup, hair, dresses, flowers, cars, ceremony, food, dance, cake, speeches and reception. Little things here and there I wish I could of done better but no one noticed and everyone commented on how much fun they had, how beautiful everything was and they could see how much work I had put into everything. We even had people telling us it was the best wedding they had been to, so we were pretty chuffed.
We already have ‘sneak peaks’ at our professional photos and MAN are the amazing.
So with out further adue, see for yourself.
Lets start off the day with my beautiful bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done. I had bought them little light weight kimonos to get ready in and they look great in photos too.
The girls had hired an amazing house, with stunning views and big wide areas so it made it nice to be relaxed that morning. I felt really good, we had hair and makeup come to us so no rushing around.
Here is one of the girls ready with hair and makeup. I gave them a little bag each with a white parasol, the pink kimonos, 2 little sparkley stretch bracelets, their hair flowers, a pair of white thongs (or flip flops) to change into later and a personal hand written letter. They also were given their dresses and flowers and I paid for their makeup, tan and part of their hair.
Here is the bridesmaids flowers
Here are their dresses, all lined up in the massive wardrobe.
