I love getting emails from Jetsetter.com, it makes me daydream for half an hour, and then I snap back to reality when I realize we’re not going to go to Bali or Tahiti or the hills of Tuscany any time soon… But it’s a lovely dream. Today I opened up my email and see the private island where we spent our honeymoon! So if anyone has a larger budget and wants to really splurge, go check it out, it’s amazing and you won’t be let down! It’s being featured at half price (although that’s still WAY more than we paid when we booked, still don’t know how we lucked out on our pricing!).

It was awesome and I’m so glad we went before they quadrupled the prices, LOL! Actually more than that… It was amazing. I’m so happy they’re on Jetsetter, the guy who runs the island is an absolute sweetheart, I adore him. We still keep in touch 🙂

@bakerella: How were you able to luck in on your amazing price?

We learned about our honeymoon locale from Jetsetter. I got it in my email, forwarded it to FH (he planned the honeymoon), and then he didn’t book it that day and I was mad. Turns out, Expedia had the same promo price for a whole week, so he ended up booking it a few days later. That way, I was still surprised! (We went to Coco’s Hotel in Antigua, btw)

@bRooklynRocks: We booked while they were renovating a bit of the island so I guess they were trying to entice bookings. I think they were also trying to build up reviews on TripAdvisor, etc. Just great timing I guess!!
