I don’t have any advice to give as I’m not TTC yet but just wanted to wish you luck, I have my fingers crossed for you! I’ve struggled with abnormal paps for the last few years and had a leep too, it’s so worrying/frustrating to keep getting abnormal results so I can’t imagine how you feel whilst TTC too. How do your doctors feel about you TTC with abnormal paps? I want to start trying soon but wasn’t sure I could. Once again, keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I use Kindara too! LOVE that app 🙂

I am estrogen dominant with a minor thyriod issue. Not the same level of drama as what you are dealing with, but I can relate to the frustration of my body not being 100% on board with my TTC plans. Your charting actually looks way better than mine! My temperature was all over the place. DH and I were already talking about what if we needed IVF, AND I had been to a hormone specialist for advice. Then BAM cycle seven of TTC I got pregnant….technically we were taking that month off to boot! We only had intercourse on one day of my fertility window…and it was the last one. My point is that miracles can happen. Remember though, IVF or not you are going to get pregnant! You got this Bee 🙂

Hi! I can so relate to your frustrations- I have a high FSH and IVF was pushed for us too. I know you want to avoid going down that road, but if you do and it’s any consolation, I am so thankful we went with IVF!! I realize it’s scary at first, but everything starts to make sense and fall in place and an IVF cycle was much faster than I thought! Because IVF harvests and stores already-conceived embryos from a cycle, we never have to go through the stress of month-to-month TTC ever again- we just pop one of those snowflake embryos back when we want to try again. Tomorrow is actually my first pregnancy test with IVF and even if it comes back negative, I feel so at peace being in the care of fertiity specialists and the fact that we have 8 other embryos that could be potential children-it’s so amazing what they can do.

But I am throwing baby dust your way for this month- your chart looks great with those high temps!

MsBear :  Good luck with it all, I know how fed up you must feel it’s no fun constantly being poked and prodded and waiting for results and appointments. Fingers crossed its your lucky month.

Hi. Im not sure If this is the right thread to post on but I was wondering if anyone ttc could shed some light on my hormone levels. I’m 34 years old and recently had blood work on day three.  My fsh was 9.5, Lh was 2.9, estradiol was 46, and Amh was 1.18.  Should I be concerned with these numbers? I was on birth control for almost ten years and stopped in November of 2015.  We started trying in April.  I know that’s only a few months of trying but being 34 and with numbers that are concerning from what I read on the Internet, I would rather know sooner rather than later if I need to do something.  Any thoughts are much appreciated!

MsBear :  Have you asked them if you could try IUI first? Is there a reason to skip ahead to IVF?

Thanks, Ms. Bear.  I had three months in a row where about 7-10 days after ovulation (I’ve been charting, had cervical mucus and all) I had spotting but then period came a little over a week later. I’ve never had irregular periods so my doctor thought that maybe it was implantation bleeding but unsuccessful implantation, so she suggested the tests.  She’s my gyn and not a fertility specialist.

MsBear :  ahhh I see. We did an IUI that failed and we are meeting with our doc to discuss IVF tomorrow. I can’t keep straight which hormones mean what anymore! I was originally totally against doing IVF but with the MFI we’re facing it’s the only option for us. So I’m putting on my big girl pants and sucking it up.  I know how stressful it is so lots of internet hugs!

Just wanted to send you some hugs. Infertility super sucks. I’m a huge fan of IVF – expensive, yes, but it does allow you to bypass a lot of fertility issues and puts your embryo in an optimal environment. DM me if you need a friend!
