I wish I could examples without strangers wearing them.  But this is what my honey will be wearing, except he is infantry so his waist band is white and because of his special training he will be wearing a red sash. (and please note, my FI’s physic is like the first photo posted :P)

(the first two are the same as his ceremony dress and the third photo is of Prince William who his regiment’s uni’s were designed after).

Prince William:

This is my FI’s regular dress uniform: (please note: also this is not my actual Fiance but he does have that many medals and in fact has one more than this gentleman *so proud*)

Oui!
The Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario.

And those Disney unis look SO Navy not Airforce.

But when I said “love the navy” I meant the colour, not the the kind that floats on boats! :PPP

@MrsNeutrino: There might be military schools similar to Norwich in CA. However, there are only 4 service academies–USAFA in CO, USMA (West Point) in NY, USNA (Annapolis) in MD, and the USCGA in CT.

ETA: I love navy too! Both the color AND the service! 🙂

@MrsNeutrino: Only 4 for the US Armed Forces! I am sure that each country has their own version of the service academies.

As for so many students being “international”, there are programs in place at several of the academies (USMA, USNA, and USCGA at least) that allow for international students to attend the academy and then serve their time in their own country’s military, but the percentage of students who participate in that fashion is very low. For example, only about 50-60 interntional students are at the USNA right now–all 4 years combined out of a total student body of about 5,000!!! That is approximately 1% of the students. Otherwise, all students of the service academies are US citizens.

Even though we aren’t in the military, my Fiance is wearing his formal uniform to the wedding.  We will be having the same honor guard with our friends too with the lances which I am excited about.

Note, this is NOT us, but to show what my Fiance will look like (in the walking out order) and the honor guard people will be wearing the full dress.
