- Wedding: July 2014
My husbands sister (in the background) let me borrow these stunning diamond teardrop earrings
My SIL hair was a work of art in itself
All of our dresses were made by Jasmines Bridal Shop. Couldn’t be happier about how they turned out!
My SIL did all of the wire work on the hangers for us
Lace from my moms wedding dress wrapped the stem of my bouquet. It was sooo special
My mom made the quilt for us. It’s one of my favourite keep sakes from the wedding!
My mom and I made the dreamcatcher. I came up with the idea about 9 days before the wedding…. it was a little stressfull but we did it! and it couldn’t have turned out better!
Our pup managed to show up for a few pics!
It rained most of the morning, so our pictures weren’t in the locations we had originally chosen, but overall I’m still super happy with how they turned out considering the weather wasn’t cooperating!
For seating cards we did cake pops with each guests name and table number. It went over really well! people loved it!
I made the guestbook with some extra fabric from the flower girl/BM dresses (sequins from Flower Girl and the chiffon for the flowers from the bridesmaids). I love that it matched with everything so perfectly!
If you haven’t caught on by now, Fiance is first nations, so we had native drummers perform after dinner
The boys snuck off for a bit for some shots and a cigar
Our late night indian taco buffet was a huge hit!
Overall I am SUPER happy with how everything turned out! of course things went wrong, but we all had a blast and it was perfect anyways!

Things that went wrong:
The hair wasnt anywhere near what I wanted… it worked though lol
It was raining. So we werent able to go to our pre selected outdoor photo locations, but the venue and hotel had some amazing little nooks we managed to find and took amazing pictures anyways!
Before it started raining we went to a park by our house so our dog could take pics with us… It was COVERED in goose crap… like COVERED. it was like dodging land mines to get to the willow tree lol
During our first look my veil got caught in the elevator… I started walking towards him and couldnt lol
The drummers were a bit late
The bartenders didn’t know that I had arranged with the venue for no shots, and beer in a glass so theres no bottles laying around…. By the time i noticed, I didn’t even care. I had a shot with my MOH! lol
The DJ wasn’t able to keep the dance floor full… I wasn’t super thrilled with him, but he was a bargain, and adequate for the price.
The indian tacos late at night weren’t made right, but they were still amazing! I was eating the left overs during the honey moon!

We just got our pics yesterday and being able to relive everything all over was just as much fun! We have NO regrets!
