I would just not have a registry. If people ask what you’d like, you can have the hostess indicate you’d love some pampered chef tools. Then people will have the option to give you pampered chef or cash.

The other option is to have a theme shower- like “bring your favorite wine” or “bring a date for the couple”. People will probably get small gifts & some might bring cash as well.

Don’t play their game. There are so many high quality kitchen items out there – it isn’t worth the awkwardness of their sales pitch. I would never, ever go to something like that if my friend was roped into it.

Do a small registry from BB&B, or Target, or Macy’s, etc, and then a honeymoon registry. You can use the honeymoon registry money towards the luggage.

I’m a little confused. Are you unable to register somewhere else? Not really sure how something going wrong with a registry = canceling a shower. Am I missing something?

I also see that Pampered Chef products are available on Amazon. Could you do an Amazon registry that includes those products & some luggage (and/or other items you may have use for)?

Are you still able to access the website?  Perhaps the host could share your wishlist of items from pamperchef.  If you’re interested in anything else, I would also recommend setting up a small registry.  If I were a guest I would probably pick up something small from that second registry with a GC for pampered chef (or cash with a little note if they don’t do GCs).

@Mrs.Darling:  I don’t know the comparative prices, or if every product you want is offered, but it’s definitely something to look into. Good luck!
