I mentioned in another post that I am getting kind of nostalgic about all the plans that I’ve worked so hard on to make our wedding beautiful and wonderful…But now there’s not that much left to do, and so I guess that nostalgia is making me want to do “wedding PLANNING” recaps…Until I get to do actual wedding recaps in less than 6 weeks.
So I took some shots of our rings – I have taken a bazillion of mine, but I didn’t have any of our rings together…I can’t wait until we’re both wearing them:) To me, they look just like us -in kind of a weird way! Fi is so handsome, strong and sturdy, and very simple and laid back. I am his little princess, and I love clean lines, but am still very girly – and if I were an engagement/wring set this is what I would be. By the same token, if Fiance were a wedding band, this is what he’d be sitting in a ringbox as.
Is anyone else totally turning into a crybaby sentimental mushball about the wedding being so close? I don’t have any more planning really to distract me from the mind-blowing realization that my best friend and the cutest guy I have ever met (seriously – Fiance is pretty hot!) is going to be my husband VERY soon!
Anyway, as a few of you know, the starfish is our wedding theme. So here you go, the first pictures our wedding bands together – the next time you see them they’ll be on our fingers instead of a starfish’s:)
Show me yours!

Cute! We have almost the same ring set! I have the same Tacori e-ring setting with a blue sapphire and the matching Tacori half-eternity band. (Kudos to you for finding a matching band that looks perfect for a better deal!) Hubs has a simple milgrain platinum band that is very much “like” him too – traditional, unfussy, easy-going. We got married on March 19th and the month has flown by! Try to stop as much as you can during the wedding day and take it all in. My favorite memory was sitting in the bathroom with him 10 minutes before the ceremony (we had a first look) just to have a few minutes to be “normal” and alone. The day was such a blur but that is one of my clearest memories. Enjoy it!

Here are our rings. A funny story our photographer told me when taking our rings was that at one wedding she accidentally forgot to give them back and nobody noticed until the ceremony. She was mainly telling me this to make sure I asked for them back but I can only imagine getting to the ceremony and not knowing where the rings were for a minute.

They are all SOOOO amazing! I can’t wait to actually be WEARING them!
@Whitanella: Yeah, I’m totally bored and all I do is get really emotional. I’m also torn between wanting it to get here and happen so we can be married, and at the same time I wish these next few weeks would slow down because I don’t want our wedding to be over:) I even added an extra hour to the reception to try to make it feel “longer.” My sister is getting married in a year, but she doesn’t want my help and she thinks she knows it all;) You’ll get to wear your beautiful rings together even before me!
@mandb122: Dude, I would freak! Mental note to share that with my photographer! Love your ring and your sappire band = to die for:)
