- Wedding: May 2011
I’m taking my recaps one stage at a time:) I just wanted to share some of the details of the day, because Lord knows I lost years off my life getting all of these together…I looked on these boards for hours on end before my weddinglooking for ideas, and maybe this will help a few bees out there:)
My Haute Bride Bracelet:
Bridesmaids Bouquets: Hot Pink Hydrangeas, and Pool Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from DB
Starfish tulle and pool aisle decorations
Our sand for the sand ceremony, and our monogrammed aisle runner….Got them personalized with our wedding date on Etsy!
Our seating cards attached to starfish:
My bouquet: Peonies! I loved it!!!
I had to wear really low heels (my pre-owned Vera Wang was hemmed by original owner, and I really had no a lot of room for heels!)…It’s hard to find cute low heels, so I had these shoe clips made on etsy to jazz them up:
Our Cake – which I don’t remember eating but everyone said was delicious
Our wedding favors were silver starfish wine bottle stoppers, wrapped with pool ribbon in white boxes and put at each place setting…
Menus, also at each place setting
My personalized hanger from Lila Frances on etsy:
The Groomsmen suits, which completely stressed me out since most were military and Darling Husband wanted them to wear their whites as an honor…Which it was! Because we had so many Coast Guard officers, we got to enter to a sword arch, another detail that was important to us to plan! But it was so hard to figure out how to make them all “go” together…I think it came out nice! My dad and Father-In-Law wore the tan suits with pool ties too!
And our Thank You cards…Which I was going to order a sign off etsy, and I’m so glad I didn’t bc I printed this off on my printer on cardstock the morning of the wedding. So it cost about 10cents total:)
I LOVED my wedding! I’m enjoying doing recaps for it!!!
