I am actually in the process of looking for a travel ring! Where did you order yours from?

@tigarlily1: Thanks! I didn’t like any of the ones on Amazon. I’ll check out JCP.

You know… I think this is a great idea. I was worried about wearing mine in the ocean, too! You are right, they are insured… but still.

I would also just hate to lose my real engagement ring. A replacement just wouldn’t be the same.

Just a quick, over-paranoid thought, but if you have a travel ring, do you have a safe place to keep the real rings while you are gone? I’ve heard of breakins when people know you’re going to be gone (esp around weddings/honeymoons because wedding dates are pretty public).

I do think your travel rings are lovely though.

@wedding-gal: thanks for the site, just what I’ve been looking for. Now just have to decide and order. ๐Ÿ™‚

I really love evesaddiction.com too for really quality CZ rings! We just got one for our cruise to Mexico

I bought myself a travel wedding band, it is just a basic tungsten one I found on ebay for $10. We didn’t bother to get DH one because his ring only cost $100.
