I am so sorry. I really hope they are in the limo. Our photographers lost some of our most important pictures too, so I know just how you feel. {{{hugs}}}

Oh no! That’s so awful! I’m praying for you that it will turn up! Please update us as soon as you get more news!

Also, just curious, but is this friend actually a professional photographer, or just a friend who happens to be good with a camera?

That just seems like something that a good photographer would NEVER let happen! Not even because of the importance of the pictures, but because their camera equipment is so expensive, and it’s their livelihood!

I’m so sorry- that’s terrible! Really hoping for the best and that the camera bag will turn up.

And while this may just be a very minor conciliation, in the worst case scenario and the bag is lost, hopefully at least some friends and family members took some pictures of your day. Even though they aren’t professional quality, it would at least be photo documentation of your special day.

But really, let’s hope the bag turns up and you get a discount for the mental anguish!

@MonAmi: Yeah, I don’t blame you! I would be too!

I just have a hard time wrapping my head around a professional photographer who would lose their equipment! That’s just so irresponsible…

Our photographer is a very, very close friend (Her family was like a second family to Darling Husband in high school, he took her younger sister to prom twice, we had her parents do the reading in our wedding, etc.), but she’s also extremely professional, and when it came to the photography, she treated us like clients and we treated her like a professional.

I would be livid if this had happened to me, but I think what makes it harder that getting shitty is going to potentially ruin a friendship (where, if it were simply a hired person, you could be a bridezilla with no guilt!)

Also, IMO, this guy should have called the limo company himself to track down the bag, and waited to tell you until he knew for sure that it was missing…. how horrible to stress you out before trying to correct the problem himself!

Oh no!  I know it must be so difficult, but try to keep calm until they have checked the limo.  I hope that even if he finds them,  he will give you some kind of compensation.  That is terrible, I’m so sorry!
