We are having a a classic Detroit/Motown downtown wedding, hence that’s why most of our songs are Motown 

Wedding Party Entrance: Endless love instrumental 
Bride’s Entrance: I Believe in You and Me (solo)
Lighting of Unity Candle- The Prayer (solo) 
Recessional: Signed, Sealed, Delivered 
First Dance: Starting with Three Times a Lady and then going into a Motown mix ( shot gun, mr postman, etc)
Cake Cutting: Sugar Pie Honey Bunch 
Bouquet Toss: Respect 
Garter Toss: Brick House

thenI will have Jamaican reggae with Sean Paul and many others

some of my local soca/calypso music as well as a few from the islands

a little bit of hip hop

a few alternative definitely at least a song by coldplay my fav band ever

Our reception will have a 90’s house party feel with some Reggae and Soca thrown in for our Caribbean heritage. I am having a mother/daughter dance after my father/daughter dance. Not traditional but I have to give my mother her moment but didn’t want to make my dad feel bad.

@RockStar33:  Good question, lol. It is a kinda sad song, buutttt….it’s an inside joke between us. We met on vacation and literally everywhere we went together, this song was randomly playing. So even though the lyrics have nothing to do with us, we joke that this song has followed us around since the day we met. Similarly, Estelle’s “Thank You” is about a past relationship, but it’s the first song he ever played for me (from his tablet at an impromptu midnight oceanfront picnic). It’s meaningful to us.
