- Wedding: November 2011
Its been months since we got married, and I’m just now posting our recap photos. The day was wonderful and went by fast, but we loved every minute. We kept things simpe and sweet. Just our style.
My Daddy and I entering the church filled with friends and family.
Saying our vows.
Being introduced as Mr. and Mrs.
I loved all our flowers. Yes they are all sillk! 😉
The wedding party. I loved how the black and red popped together. Red is Hubs’ favorite color.
I chose Maggie Sottero’s Grace Kelly as my dream dress. I loved it and I don’t think I’ve ever looked skinnier! It has a lot more sparkle than it shows in the photos.
Our first dance. The reception was held at an old brewery that was refurbished. Polished concrete floors, brick walls, and it overlooks the Mississippi River.
Our beautiful cake. It was made by a friend at a local grocery store. The cutting cake was red velvet, and the mints were handmade as a gift by his aunt and uncle. I loved the heart shaped napkins.
Our head table for the wedding party. Our venue did all our decorating for us at the reception, it was beautiful. Lights around all the windows and doors and tulle in ours wedding colors. I didn’t see the reception decor until we walked in, it was like opening an extra present. We had the rehearsal at the brewery the night before, but it was decorated completely different, just for us.
A silly photo our photographer caught of us. He was having us take some photos, and said put your hand around his neck. lol Not what he meant, but I love it.
One last cendid photo. This is a great shot our photographer caught. Our two youngest nieces were the flower girls. They got half way down the aisle and one started throwing petals. The other stopped and said ” NO!!! Pick it up!!” at the end of the aisle. Bless her heart, she didn’t want the petals to mess up the church. I didn’t see this until we got out photos, I heard everyone laugh, but was preparing for my entrance outside the doors.
Overall, I loved our wedding, wouldn’t change a thing. My husband loved it and we are so happy to be married. Thank you Bees for all your ideas and help along the way.
