jnd224: I love it!! How cute!! 😍
We are having a smallish wedding (90 people) in a small church. We are having picnic food. Ham, chicken salad, baked beans, coleslaw, chips n dips, cheeses, fruit salads, wine, champaign. I’m using my favorite picnic basket as our card box. We are using a some picnic baskets as our centerpieces w/ wild flowers.

yarrowwind: Sorry for the late reply. I haven’t been around.
I made small paper roses and glued them onto floral wire. Then wrapped the floral wire in floral tape and then again in yarn (mostly because I’m a knitter but didn’t knit anything for the wedding). Then I just tied to d20 charms on. I was going to try to make the charms but didn’t want to deal with it so I bought some on etsy.

MexiPino: OMG! Those ties are amazing!
We had a retro/vintage theme focsued on Big Band, Swing, Swing Revival and Bebop music. It was super fun. Darling Husband loves “Cowboy Bepop” and we used acouple songs from it. I’m really into 50’s style so we incorporated that into the wedding as well. We also got married at an Arboretum that is super important to him, and we go hiking and shooting there on a regualr basis. Here is a collage of everything!

Fiance calls our theme “Rocked Out Love”.
I play bass and Fiance plays drums and guitar. Save-The-Date Cards are backstage passes, invitation is designed to look like a small record album. Low table ceterpieces are drums from FI’s 2 sets with flowers on top surrounded with candles.
We’re also including a bit of gamer/nerd stuff. Video game theme music, Imperial March, some D&D nods and comics since we met at the local comic book store.
I’m really excited about getting everything figured out and we’ve got plenty of time since we’re looking at Halloween 2019. 🙂

Wow! Love this thread!
My original inspiration came from a mod for Minecraft called the Twilight Forest, and those people who had a really cool Minecraft wedding that time… But since then it’s kinda evolved and abstracted away from that. There’s still some influence for sure, but in general now if I had to list some tags for it it would be: enchanted forest, sunset, whimsy, fairytale.
bridesmaid bouquet inspiration:
basically just gonna do a bunch of stuff with moss and mason jars and lights (inspiration pics)

I guess our theme is rustic garden. We’re getting married in the rose gardens of a winery and our reception is being held in the renovated homestead that has been sitting on the property for decades (it looks original on the outside but is a restaurant on the inside lol). I’m also injecting a few literary bits into the day from some of my favourite authors (JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, CS Lewis), as reading/writing is a huge part of my life. I’m trying not to do too much though, as my Fiance isn’t a big reader and I want the day to reflect him too.
