I was a little nervous when I realized that I would have to take my engagement photos in the winter. I knew that I wanted my photos to be taken outdoors and thought that taking them in the winter would make that completely impossible. Boy, was I wrong. I learned that in order to take beautiful winter engagement photos, all you need is a few things: snow, some good boots, a stylish coat, a blanket, and a photographer who is willing to freeze for a little bit.
Luckily, the day of our shoot was a beautiful 26 degrees, incredibly warm for Vermont. There was fresh snow on the ground and our photographer agreed to trek out to the beautiful Warren/Waitsfield area. We just drove around until we saw some nice spots for photos and an hour later had some beautiful shots.
