Out of curiousity and just for fun… according to old wives tales…
if your baby’s heartrate is <140, you’re having a boy; but if it’s >140, you’re having a girl.
Was this accurate for you???
Just curious 🙂

I do not remember the exact number but my OB was an old guy and he listened to the heartbeat prior to the ultrasound and said GIRL and it was a girl. The next pregnancy he did it again and said BOY and it was a boy. I think there is something to it.

At my 13 week ultrasound the heartbeat was very fast and at my 20 week ultrasound last month we found out we’re having a boy. So no truth to the old wives tale for us. Last week at my Drs appointment his heard rate was 145 and I’m almost 26 weeks now.

We’re having a boy. Heart rate has been consistently in 150s over the past several appointments.

Not accurate for me. We were Team Green and the baby always had a fast heartbeat, which was one of the reasons I thought it would be a girl. Nope… Boy!!
