I think you should ask, there’s no harm in trying.

I think it would be worth a call! If you’re not using her as a reference, anyway, it wouldn’t hurt to see if she’ll do it. If you are using her as a reference, it’ll give you a good idea on if she’s giving potential employers positive or negative feedback anyway!

I would ask her, and explain why you need the pictures, that makes complete sense to me.

Do you HAVE to have her permission to use it? If you’re afraid to ask, why don’t you just send someone in there to “nonchalantly” comment on how beautiful it is and take a picture of it? Or it that crossing some sort of line??

Why not ask? Worst thing that could happen is she says no!

I think there is no harm in asking. Unless you left her with a sour note… if you jsut resigned and not said anything bad to her or her business, she should be okay with you.

And if apprpriate, when you do get the pics, can you post one for us to see?

The worst she can say is no, right?

I would just ask, best case you get the photos.

@echolove:  That’s what I mean… you should be FINE! I would ask her and she would probably say yes. She’s not all bad right?

Especially if you left on good terms, I think you should try to ask her and see what she says.  I can’t imagine she wouldn’t let you, considering you did the painting yourself.  Definitely yes 🙂
