We need some ideas!!…we want to put together out of town bags for our guests to thank them for coming to celebrate with us, and most of which are coming out of state. We are having a rustic western, laid back/informal wedding out in Jackson Hole WY at the end of September. We’re going with the whole vintage, earthy feel so some of our ideas for the bags are either muslin bags, burlap, fabric bags to hold contents.
Right now we’re thinking we want to have it just include some local stuff from WY: ie, local honey, local huckleberry jam, maybe some local roasted coffees, jerky 🙂 (elk, buffalo, c’mon you can’t get this everywhere!), information and maps on Jackson Hole, and an itenerary. What do you guys think about this?? Also, any other cool ideas to throw in for that western flair to make it kind of personalized??
ALSO–who do we buy gifts for?? We are having our friend marry us, so we’re gonna get him something (probably cowboy boots) To give you an idea of our wedding, myself and Jason are wearing cowboy boots. He is wearing jeans with a white shirt and our 6 month old is going to match him 🙂 Our 6 month old is also going to be our ring bearer (we had an etsy seller design a ring pillow that he’s wearing on his arm)My niece, my future DH’s niece and nephew are going to pass out a wildflower to each guest that comes to our ceremony site which is at the National Park. Also my future Darling Husband just told me he wants to have his Dad be the best man…up until yesterday we didn’t have a wedding party!! So now I guess we get him something too, and I probably should have a maid of honor.
So any thoughts/suggestions would be super helpful!! Thanks ladies!!
