The first month we TTC I read TCOYF.  The second and third month I was taking my temperature, but found it stressful (especially during the TWW). This month I only took my temperature during my fertile window, and I also used OPK’s, which were super easy to use.  :)Oh, we also used pre-seed this month.  Sitting at 7dpo, I hope you get your BFP soon!!

@AnotherAnonyBee:  I agree with PP in saying that temping relieves alot of the TTC stress.  I have long cycles which made it even more frustrating.  I started OPKs in the middle of last cycle, and got a positive – but not a super obvious positive.  This cycle I continued using OPKs and started temping, and I am much more relaxed.  I actually love looking at my chart and seeing how my temperature fluctuates.

@AnotherAnonyBee:  OPKs are definately frustrating – I actually keep all of mine for records/comparison.

I tried to take AnotherAnonybee but it didn’t work….

Are you sure you aren’t pregnant? I have read that since LH (what the OPK detects) and HCG (what the pregnancy test detects) are almost identical, OPKs will read positive if you are pregnant. Either way, good luck!!!

@AnotherAnonyBee:  OPKs usually mean that you will ovulate in 24-48 hours so I think your timing is pretty good if you BD on the night of the positive and then again the next day. That’s probably O-1 and O timing and it only takes one time to make a baby. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Keep us posted!!

@AnotherAnonyBee:  I don’t have any experience with that stuff, so I hope someone else chimes in soon, I just want to tell you I have my fingers crossed for you!!  ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you get your BFP!

@AnotherAnonyBee:  At around 10 dpo I had a lot of bloating and I was super gassy (gross). More so than regular PMS for sure. My boobs were big and tender but no more so than normal PMS. My tip-off symptom was cramping but no period. I was on a trip and purposely did not bring any sticks to pee on, I waited until I was at home and lo and behold, a BFP! I was on CD 30 the day I POAS and think I was 13 dpo. I was tired of testing early and seeing BFN, I told myself that the next time I POAS it WOULD be positive. Now I am curious how early I would have seen a positive since my line was really dark when I finally POAS. Best of luck to you! I think the CM sounds promising!
