I think this is a beautiful look and if you are in love with it, go for it! I personally think it’s a timeless look. I know with some of my choices, 20 years from now I’ll have a what was i thinking moment but bring it! Ha.

my sister married over 20yrs ago and we laugh at her photos (well it was the 80’s, no good came from the 80’s) but you know what – its good laughter celebrating 20yrs of marriage so if you love the look go for it!

Girl pompadour? Isn’t that just an “up do”?

Aaaah, okay now I see. It might become a little dated, but not too bad. Plus, if it flatters you, I say go for it. Wear your hair however you look/feel best!

I think the look in the picture is pretty and classic. I can see what you mean about “the bump” going out of style, but come on, it’s not like you’re going all Snookie on everyone’s asses! Wink

Pretty much everyone is going to be dated, so while I am not a fan of the pouf, you should do what makes you feel beautiful!

Even Snookie stopped rocking the poof!

All joking aside, I think it’s a classic, beautiful look.  An up-do is always a classic look and teasing your hair in the front to give it more height, make your face look longer is something people have been doing for years!  Besides, it is your wedding day, if you love it, go for it!  Honestly, looking at the picture, I didn’t even think it was outdated, personally.

I love the second pic of the girl with the blond hair. It’s gorgeous. I think you may have inspired me for my wedding hair. Very pretty!

As long as it’s not “Bumpit” tall, it will probably not even be that noticeable.

Oh I rock pompadours like nobodies business (especially if my hair’s greasy and I’m being lazy).  But I think the style looks great, if anyone is judging your hair at YOUR wedding, they need to get over themselves.

Rock it like it’s 19…eh, whenever.
