I offically moved in with, now Darling Husband, in Jan. I brought my Black Lab with me. Darling Husband had a cat, he bottle feed since about 2 hours after the cat’s birth, feral and the Mom took off(there were three but just the one survived)
We have a pet gate up seperating the house since Jan, and slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwly they are starting to deal with each other. They can now be in the same room with out the cat hissing. Dog is pretty laid back and after the first few nights of us yelling “NO”, she no longer chases the cat.
THIS HAS ALL CHANGED… Last week the neighbors have taken in… or gotten an older(not a kitten) long haired greyish cat…. that is an outdoor cat. The cat taunts our dog and cat & has sprayed the ENTIRE YARD including under my car. The dog is going APESHIT , pacing all day, tapping windows, and when we take her out she forgets to go to the bathroom, she’s sniffling all over for that cat. Our cat is hitting the windows with her paws and hissing at the dog now, and the dog is barking at her.
wow this is long. …….. ANY ONE have any ideas how to keep the cat out of our yard? I don’t want to kill it or anything, and I really don’t want to get a Super soaker. I don’t want to use mothballs, posinous. ARe there plants or something that would deter the menace cat? Thank you bees!!
