I’m getting married October 27th at 6pm. Since I live in Ontario, Canada, it will be getting dark at that time. I’m getting mixed feelings on the subject when I bring up that I still want to get married outdoors. My only other option is to have the ceremony in the reception room and while cocktail hour is going on the room is flipped from ceremony to reception.
My feeling is that if I have some clear lights on the arch way entering the space, line the aisle with candles, and and have lanterns up above my fiance and I on the front arch way, that guest will still see what is going on.
Am I missing something? I have a photographer booked, I should ask her for her opinion as well.

That time of year it can be cold! I have an Ex Boyfriend or Best Friend when I was with him his sister got married about that time of year (we live in Minnesota) and it was cold that day… So I woud look into maybe outdoor heaters?

Lately, it’s been staying warmer longer and longer. Last year when I took my step daughter our for Halloween, it was actually quite nice out and I wore a thin sweater. Outdoors would be nice – if you hired a professional photographer, they should have no problems with it, however talk to them so they bring the right equipment. I’d suggest looking for outdoor heats (like above mentioned) or even getting shawls in a basket for the girls.
