We’re having an outdoor ceremony and while making my own inviations, I am wondering if it’s necessary to let guests know the ceremony is outdoors? I was not planning on doing a seperate reception card since the reception is at the same location, just inside. I thought of a wedding website, but my and FI’s families have never heard of such a thing so I think it would be kind of pointless. Is the fact that the ceremony is outdoors something I should include on the invitation? Where and how would you include this info? thanks!

I am letting our guests know on my std slide show, it says something like we are having an outdoor weekday ceremony just in case they need to dress differently or something like that. Are you doing save the dates? You could also perhaps do a wedding newsletter or something like that.

I put all the details for it on our website, but since you said that won’t work for you, maybe you can include a “More Information” card that includes details like directions AND the fact that it’s outdoors, rolled into one card.
