Did you ask the IKEA closest to you if they could check to see if the other stores have some? If they do, they could probably have them shipped to the store closest to you and you could pick them up there, instead of having to travel to the other ones yourself or trying to search for them somewhere else.

@stephalina6: No way!! That blows. Is there anything else you need at IKEA? I’d hate to drive 2 hours and spend a ton on gas just to buy a few lanterns.

You said they’re out of stock – are they going to be re-stocking anytime soon?

I just bought some of these!  They are actually a gift, but I definitely want some for myself for our yard.  I have not seen anything quite like this before, because in addition to not being paper they run on a solar battery.  So cool!  No ugly extension cords to worry about.  They also come in a string of 8 smaller ones, too.
