Can you just get a smaller crinoline so the bottom is more flowy and less poofed out?

My dress is a satin, a-line with a semi cathedrial train, I am having an outdoor ceremony, and indoor reception.. I was worried about mine at first, being too much, but you fell in love with it, it’s what you wanted, so do what you want! You only get married once!!!

I think your dress should be what you love regardless of what the style of your wedding is. We’re having an outdoor ceremony, very rustic, but my favorite gowns I’m looking at are mostly tulle. You could wear a fully blinged-out gown to a barbeque reception and I don’t think anybody would judge you

@NikkiKillpretty:  I’m pretty sure you know this already.. But if you lose the hoop.. 2 things will happen. A: You will likely need to get hemmed, the hoop lifts it up (I’m sure you know this, but I am captain obvious sometimes).. B: You will get hot… If it’s warm outside, that hoop will keep the dress off your legs…

Do you love it? That is all that matters! I have been to numerous outdoor weddings where the bride has worn a huge gown (not that yours is huge) They looked beautiful!

You could bustle it the whole time BUT I think if you love it who cares! Go for it.
