(Closed) outdoor wedding… ipod help!

I am wondering this myself.  I know the offbeat bride has some articles about this.  But I don’t remember them covering this.  It would be nice to know though I kinda wanted an entrance song too but don’t know who I can trust to handle this hence why I wanted a DJ.

 I downloaded the weddingdj app on my iphone.  Gonna use that instead of an ipod to play my playlist off of.

Hmm I didn’t even think of this… we are having outdoor wedding too and we were going to lead into our first dance songs right away I just assumed one of my Bridal party would announce it? oops

Will you still be having a microphone available for speeches? If so I would just designate someone from the bridal party (or a different charming guest) to  be the MC and have them make all those announcements. That’s what we are doing.

If you are close to your officiant, you could have them double as the MC for the evening and maybe offer them a small amount in compensation? That’s what we’re doing for ours, we’re renting a mic and speakers for about $80. Good luck!
