(Closed) Outdoor winter wedding….

I would be slightly concerned if I were invited to one that I would freeze…a short ceremony, with blankets, would be best indeed. Warm/potentially alcoholic drinks would be a great plus too! 

I would see what could be done about potential ice/snow hazards, especially if you’re by a river – you don’t want anyone falling in. 

Will you have a coat rack or coat check in for guests? If it is really cold, and people are bundled up, it would be nice to have some place for them to safely put their jackets. 


The Wisconsinite in me says 30 ain’t that cold – that’s still shorts weather ’round here! 😉

Goodness gracious! At least the storms are predictable? 

Haha, yup – I had a few friends in college who were from South Carolina and as soon as it hit about 40, they whipped out parkas, and all the Midwesterners were still out swimming in the lake. 😀

Our these is rustic/vintage, so I have been collecting old quilts to have out for guests.<br />We will display them on an antique ladder!

Our wedding is November 15th, and literally ON the river in east TN:<br />new release movie<br />That’s the church we are getting married in (all the scraggly brush on the banks is gone!)Praying for pretty weather (like 50’s and sunny!)
