Im debating on how to word the instructions on how to get to the location of the Ceremony.
It will be held outdoors in a Park.
Part of me wants to write word for word how to get to the location, but I may come across like Im making my guests seem stupid.
But then again part of me feels someone is bound to get lost.
So my question is to Brides that plan on, or had a Wedding at a Park, what did you?
Or even people that have attended a park wedding, how was it written out for you?
did you get a map?
did you get just the address of the location?
did you get a print out of driving walking instructions?

You can give the address and name of the park and then post signs at the location to direct people where to go.

Our ceremony is a bit of a walk (not far, just not directly visible from where folks will park) and we’re making signage so no one gets lost! Hammering stakes in with arrow signs each corner!

@RingPup: Hey Ringpup is your park okay w doing that?
I had an idea of putting ribbons to guide people, but Im concerned the Park may not like that. Was there an Offical you got the Okay from?

I made a map & will be printing the directions on the map card mostly because there are a lot of Out of Town guests who have no idea where the location is (it is abit out of the way).
If your localtion is well know to your guests the address should be OK, they can google the directions. if you want to go a step further you can always make a digital map & include a link or print one & send it with the invites.

We are having it at a park but the location is pretty easy to find.
I would ask the park if they will allow signs or even ribbons to be tied around a tree to help direct people.

It’s a private property/acreage, we can pretty much do whatever we want, so yes 🙂
